I have two dogs—they’re meant to dash in the wind and roll in the grass, but instead, they’re cooped up with me in a city apartment, their tails wagging half-heartedly. That changed the first time I took them to a suburban meadow: they tore through dewy grass, nuzzled the dirt to sniff out the scent of plants, and their tails turned into little fluttering fans at the smell of the wind. In that moment, it hit me: a dog’s nature isn’t about curling up on the couch waiting for sunset—it’s about chasing the breeze and drinking in the world with their nose. So I quit my office job, grabbed them, and dived headfirst into the outdoors: from romping in nearby fields, to camping by tents in the mountains, to exploring forest trails… Watching the spark in their eyes when their paws got wet, or their chaos as they chased sparrows into the bushes, I realized: I thought I was “changing” their lives, but really, they pulled me out of my routine—turns out, the real life is freedom: feet in the dirt, wild wind on your face, with your fluffy companion by your side. That’s how Weald Paw was born: - Every windbreaker is the mountain breeze we shielded them from; - Every toy is the joy of them gnawing and rolling; - Every camping set is the warmth of the starlit nights we shared. We want more dogs to run wild in nature 365 days a year; we want more owners to start their own **Outdoor Wandering Plan**—with their furry best friends.
